Finally on this page is my Biography and what I’ve done, it’s a bit self indulgent,  as you can see by the amount of photo's of me, but who cares all Dog Trainers have massive ego's, and as you can see I'm no exception.



Biography

After joining the Police service Mic worked as a Patrol officer, he was then selected to join the Tactical Patrol Group and completed his initial firearms, drugs search and detection qualifications. He then joined the Dog Section and worked as a General Police Dog Handler, Tactical Firearms Support Dog Handler completing his Advanced Firearms course, Drugs Detection Dog Handler and in 1994 he became an Environmental Dog Instructor. Mic has worked with the Customs and Excise Dept, American and German Police Services. He has competed at the highest level in Regional Dog Trials and Civilian Working Trials. He has studied Dog Behaviour with the Animal Care College and is a Member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. In 2002 he became K9 Consultant and Instructor to the late President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the Military Police of the United Arab Emirates. Since then he has completed two more overseas assignments.

Mic is now well known as the no nonsense dog trainer on the hit BBC series Dog Borstal
